I'm Sam, a senior product designer with expertise in UI, UX, user research and product strategy, currently helping to shape design thinking at Verizon Wireless.
I'm committed to being a user advocate—to ensure that users feel empowered and engaged through products and services that speak to their needs, wants and desires. And I believe that design can only be beautiful as long as it is functional, useful, and meaningful.
My crazy attention to detail has earned me the nickname "Hawk-eyes" and my superpower (I've been told) is my ability to remain positive, diligent, and thoughtful in the face of ambiguity. When I'm not designing, I'm daydreaming about owning a dog, traveling the world (26 countries and counting), or making my award-winning guacamole (yes, I actually won a "guac-off"). EXPERIENCE
Lead Product Designer, Verizon | New York, NY (2020–Present)
Spearheaded a strategic initiative to identify areas where Verizon could leverage AI-capabilities for enhanced personalization and automation. Worked with cross-functional partners to build an AI-driven plan recommender. Managed and mentored junior designers.
Senior Product Designer, Verizon | New York, NY (2018–2020)
Researched, strategized and designed the user experience for customer-
facing digital initiatives aimed at increasing personalization and creating greater customer lifetime value. Facilitated workshops with stakeholders and partners to jump-start ideation.
Product Designer, Moment | New York, NY (2017–2018)
Redesigned high-traffic pages of the J.P. Morgan Asset Management website to support quick and easy product exploration and comparison. Worked closely with the development team to build and ship the product across all markets. Conducted extensive user research to strategize future opportunities for JPMAM’s website, digital tools, and product offerings.

Joined the team at 10+ different agencies, including SapientRazorfish, HUGE, and DDB Worldwide, to create customer-facing digital experiences for clients such as Electrolux, The Borgata, Mastercard, Dri-Fit, and American Express.
